My design philosophy is that the relationship between the designer and client is most important. You want a designer who listens to and communicates with you to understand your needs. You want to be satisfied with the final product and the development process along the way. To get there you need a designer who is willing to explore your ideas, knows what options are possible, knows how to develop professional plans, and has a good relationship with the builder to ensure that the design you want is what is built.

History Of
Melanie Rush Designs
After purchasing my first house I immediately began thinking of how I could make my living space more organized, comfortable and attractive. Making these improvements allowed me to efficiently complete my daily activities, keep my home tidy, feel at peace in my space and enjoy more time with my growing family.
Each time our family relocated I enjoyed the results achieved through repeating this process. Eventually I felt a desire to obtain formal training in woodworking and design so that I could work in the building industry and learn from experienced professionals.
Since receiving formal education through Camosun College I have designed and built custom cabinetry for a variety of needs. I am delighted with every opportunity I receive to help others transform their space.
